Hello developers,

After some hard work I seem to be able to build XMLgawk for native
Windows :-)
Jrgen, Victor and Manuel: thanks for all the tips!

If you're interested, have a look at http://www.wimdows.info/project/xgawk

A quick attempt to run the test suite shows that the provided executable
needs a specific testing environment. Anyway some test works ok. Will
try later.

Hello developers,
As mentioned in my mail of 5 November, I managed to build XMLgawk for native
Windows :-) .
In the previous version, however, I forgot the dependency on libiconv-2.dll.
(The dll was already on the path in my environment, so it worked in my
case.) The file is now included in the archive that can be downloaded from
my site:
[1]http://www.wimdows.info/project/xmlgawk
To use the new gawk.exe, with xml support:
- The dynamic library xml.dll needs to be on your AWKLIBPATH or in the
current working directory,
- The dll's libexpat-1.dll and libiconv-2.dll (and gawk.exe) need to be on
your path.
Hope you will be able to use the binaries now.
Regards,
Wim van Blitterswijk
