GNUstep Runtime 1.7 RC1 branched

Hi everyone,
I've just branched a release candidate for version 1.7 of the runtime. You can find it in svn here:
svn.gna.org/svn/gnustep/libs/l ibobjc2/tags/1.7-RC1
Please test, report bugs, and so on. I've attached a copy of the draft release announcement. Lots of new features and lots of bug fixes in this release. It's been almost 10 months since the last release, and 18 months since the last major release, so sorry to everyone who has been waiting for bug fixes.... more »

This may be a silly question - forgive me if so.
Is there a current GNUstep-based distribution, at all?
I have been experimenting with Window Maker and many of the GNUstep
apps recently, but my efforts to find a desktop distro based around

Icon Design for Mac/GNUstep applications

Hi all,
we are in need for a couple of icons for Mac/GNUstep applications and are looking for a professional icon designer (for money). We already had contact with an icon designer on this list almost 10 years ago that designed two icons for us that are still in use.
We need the usual 48x48 TIFF and the icns file for four apps and two extra icons (only the 48x48 TIFF).... more »
