I thought I had answered that but it's not showing up, so let me
repost that.

The reason I'm expiring old revisions is not resource constraints.
It's a conscious decisions made based on some thoughts discussed in
the early days of wiki. You can read more about it here:

In short, the idea is that we want to forgive and forget, no be record
keepers of other's mistakes. We don't need to support old versions of
the code, and therefore we do not need access to all the old
revisions. Our focus is on polishing the the current revision of the
text.
