The reason we have prebuilt Windows binaries is that fairly few people have the right tools to build Emacs on Window, whereas for POSIX systems it tends to be a lot more common to have all the needed development tools already (or easily installed). > Wouldn't it be nice if someone put up (and then maintained) > the newest version of emacs!
