Does anyone know a way of having the week numbers included in the
calendar? Or perhaps a 'goto-week-number' command?

The command you want is goto-iso-date `gc'. The command print-iso-date `pc'
shows the ISO form of the date (with the week number) in the message line.
(The `c' stands for `commercial' since this is the ISO commercial standard.)

It is not possible to display the week numbers in the calendar display without
breaking many, many things--so don't try!
