printing interface in printing.el

Hi all,
I am using printing.el (http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/PrintingPackage)+emacs 24.2+Mac OS 10.6/10.7. It seems that the printer selection through the printing interface(GUI) in the menu is not working---even though the printing interface displays that a new printer has been selected, but it still sends to the default printer which seems to be the first printer in the pr-txt-printer-alist. The printing interface under non-GUI seems to work fine. Any ideas what might go wrong in GUI? Thanks.
