Subject: Apparent username unknown
I installed CVS on Win XP system from the download for Windows
(cvs-1-11-2.zip).  I created a local a repository, imported a set of
development files, and updated them.

When I attempt to commit my changes I receive:

L:\test\Tss>cvs commit -m mod1
cvs [commit aborted]: your apparent username (user1) is unknown to this
system

I suspect I left out some environment option.  Any thoughts how to get by
this would be appreciated.
