I just installed Ubuntu 12.10 and Gnome Do. IIRC the summon key was
disabled, so I set it to [Super]+[Space]. I also disabled the Unity menu
key [Super] because I really don't need it when I got Do.
Whenever I log out, Gnome Do forgets the key bindings. I will have to set
the summon key manually every time I log in. I was wondering if it was only

I installed GNOME Do today and am excited about its possibilities, but
can't get the Prefs to show when I click on the tiny triangle. The menu
pops up, but it's behind Do, and none of the four choices are clickable.
I'm using xubuntu 12.10, and the latest version of Do. i also have Docky
installed...could that have anythinjohg to do with it?

Odd. It built in the do-testers PPA (and, obviously on my system) last I
tried.

I'll give it another whirl locally and see if I can reproduce.

The first step would be to not call Docky lame. That doesn't exactly
inspire us (the developers) to help you.

And no, you can't integrate them. Do never created an API that Docky
could hook into.

I read an article saying docky and Gnome Do separated. Now docky is lame.
Anyone now how to reintegrate them? As a last resort I could use an
outdated version. Also, I just got Xubuntu 12.04 if it helps. (It is funny
have Docky and the bottom panel.)

 Hm. There is a bit of a problem with initial discoverability in Do;
it's something that I'm thinking about how to solve on and off.
Out of the box, Do should at least index your applications, offer a
bunch of session actions (suspend, log out, restart, shutdown), offer to
create tinyurls, index your Tomboy notes, and a couple more things.
