I was trying to install gnizr following the directions at
http://code.google.com/p/gnizr/wiki/SetupGnizrDatabase. I had
installed MySQL 5.1.23.

When trying to do step 2 under "Create database tables and stored
procedures" I got the following error when running loadsch.sh

Error: 1089 (HY000) at line 228: Incorrect sub part key; the used key
part isn't a string, the used length is longer than the key part, or
the storage engine doesn't support unique sub keys

At the suggestion of Wes, I reverted back to MySQL 5.0.51a and the
loadsch.sh script worked fine.

Sarah,

Given that 5.1 is a pre-production release, I won't be surprised that it
behaves inconsistent with 5.0. Because I don't have a copy of 5.1
installed in our test environment, so I can't test it.

If you still have a copy of 5.1 running, could you send me a screen
print of you running the install script? I want to see the full output
of the install process and the exact location where the install had failed.

Thanks,

- Harry
