The sound quality is very poor.
Compared to WMP that is.
It would have been better if the server didnt play music but rather
controlled the wmp.
I know it is available because i have used a similar utility through
bluetooth before.
Other than that there is no point in installing Gmote.
I dont just need music, i need my music in good quality.

Same here. Sound crakcles and pos like an old school record. Can't find any
info about how to fixe this. Don't know if the issue is with VLC, which I
don't like at all, or with Gmote itself.

Ah the issue is probably with the completely outdated version of VLC that
GMOTE server installs. WTF! Why not use 2.04?

Kind of late but you can increase the quality a bit by copying the current
VLC files into the gmote server folder. It made most of the crackling go
away. Now, as long as my volume isn't set to the max, it won't crackle.
