Gmote doesn't connect to server

The Gmote doesn't work and will not connect to my server. I have tried
everything on the gmote FAQ's and nothing will work. But i also
noticed that when i start Gmote on my phone it doesn't ask me for my
password. What am i suppose to do?

Hi,

Can you please do the following:

1. Close the gmote application on your computer

2. Make sure your computer's firewall is turned off

3. Make sure that your phone is connected to the same wireless network as your computer

4. From your computer, go to the application's installation directory (c:\program files\gmoteserver) and double click on runServerDebugMode.bat

5. Try to connect to the computer from your phone.
