A vast improvement over boiled coffee on the campfire, like Walter
Brennan used to drink.
What's a Keureg?

Senseo. Best coffee maker you can buy in my opinion. We have two. one for the house and one for the GMC!. It will not run on a 700W inverter, however...

Pray Incessantly!!!
Truth be told I bought 3 of them on Woot! but gave the other two away
to good friends. I had one earmarked for the coach...
I found some regular coffee pods at the industrial Costco here in
Hayward for a great price. I think it was two boxes of 25 (or 50)
for $8. That was a steal!
Okay, now I like Airstreams too.

Helen and I are coffaholics and hHere in Australia we have a Delonghi
Magnifica Expresso machine that has a hopper for roasted beans and a tank
for water. Push a button and it does the rest!we both love expresso coffee.
We looked into the Senseo but decided on a Keurig coffee maker for two
reasons; the unit itself was cheaper and you could get a K Cup which allowed
you to use whatever kind of coffee you liked.

To answer your specific questions:
1) The Keurig makes great tasting coffee.
2) It is a bit too tall to store under the sink standing up in the Avion and
so we lay it down on its side but that hasn't caused any problems.
3) The only thing to clean is the drip tray under the cup and the K-Cup and
wire mesh filters. We dump the used grounds into the trash bag and then rise
it out with clean water.

Woot.com has pod coffee makers available right now for $10!!, but
it's only good 'till midnight central time, about an hour from now.
If you aren't familiar with Woot! the sell one thing a day. You can
buy up to three of whatever they are selling and the shipping is $5.
If they are selling 50 inch TV's and you buy three, then the shipping
is $5 total for all three.
Recently got one. Love it. Don't need it but love it.

We have a Keuueuuruuuereg at the office. It uses those little plastic
cups of coffee concentrate, and you put in the cup, close the top, and
push the button. It fills the coffee cup from a water storage bottle
inside the machine. We've never cleaned it yet, and we aren't dead, so
it must not be needed. The coffee it makes is quite good.
But if you really want to be a coffee snob, get a press. Nothing tells
the assembled masses around the campfire that you are In The Know like
stepping out of the coach with a recently filled and steeping coffee
press.

Larry,
Is that 'industrial Costco' different than the everyday
California Costco?
I thought they were (more or less) all the same.
Thanks!

has a amazing web site all about coffee.
More than you ever needed to know about coffee and coffee
machines.
Here is his thoughts on the Keurig B50,
K-Cup Brewer - "If you need a drop-in style of coffee brewer, the Keurig machines are the best choice. They offer a lot of choice when it comes to the K-cups, so you should be able to find a coffee to satisfy your needs. Tea and hot chocolate K-Cups are also avaliable."

Now you know... If you are in Canada you only need to know two words.. Tim Horton's! EH! Oks thats 3 words.
There is one about every hundred feet so no need to bother with the investment and on-going upkeep of your own coffee maker. There is a Timmy's in sight from virtually any point.
Now me, I don't care for it.. but we do have a Tim's machine and my secretary makes sure its always stocked with Tim's coffee pouches.. otherwise I may have a wildcat strike on my hands.

The cuts of meat are larger than the other Costco's. They had a 30
gallon drum of chocolate chips some years ago. Really durable
stoneware and stainless flatware by the dozen. Salt and Pepper
shaker? Buy the 12 pack. Toothpicks in 1,000 count boxes - you get
the idea.
Don't tell anyone about my secret. The lines are almost non-existent
and I like it that way.

Looks like you're all set to make an informed decision. Too bad, I was
looking forward to the Coffee Maker Wars! Things have been a little dull
around here since Gordon left! ;-)
Your mention of the coffee press reminded me of a down side to the Keurig.
If you have a couple of people over for coffee it takes a fair amount of
time to make four cups.
I think we'll get a regular size press for when company comes.
