I was happily using GMarks, using my grown...@yahoo.com address,
and I had a lot of bookmarks there. All of a sudden GMarks is not
logging me in automatically and keeps insisting that I am not logged
into my Google account. Evidently, that Google account has been
eliminated.

I switched over to tic...@gmail.com, which it does accept, but all my
bookmarks are gone. I have used my Yahoo account for years, and do not
want to use Gmail.

I want my old Google account back!

I don't understand how you could ever use a yahoo address for google bookmarks. That doesn't seem to make sense.

Various google tools would let you create an account using a non-gmail
mailbox. One example is Google Voice. My domain is a google app, but
Google Voice treats it as a 3rd party email address..

Google Bookmarks was the same I believe... If I log into my google
apps account start page, and then go to bookmarks.google.com, it
forces me to log in again. Same username/password, but it's like it
doesn't recognize it as a consolidated set of tools...
