This is the version I'll probably be uploading to addons.mozilla.org soon unless there are any big problems. I actually mean that this time. Its been way to long. There aren't many changes since 0.9.9 beta if any, just some minor touchups.
Here are the changes from 0.9.9 on addons.mozilla.org: -Spellcheck added to add bookmark dialog -Now uses https to access bookmarks -Improved importing from Firefox -Added option to rename the 'GMarks' menu to 'Bookmarks' -Improved Quick Search results -Cleaned up some code -Fixed some small bugs -Fixed drag and drop to work with 3.5 -Now compatible with FF 3.6a1pre

Chrome is very different from Firefox and would require a completely
different extension (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, considering
how messy GMarks is now). I use a mac as my primary computer and won't
work on a GMarks for Chrome until they want to support the browser on
the mac. Aside from that I'm not sure if the browser's extension api
is mature enough yet.

Is it possible to allow for different domains? I work for a school
and I would love to be able to have my students keep track of their
bookmarks both inside and out of school for our Google apps for
Education. Thanks for this work by the way!

Paul, are you referring to being able to load bookmarks from a Google
apps for Education account? Do they have a way to store bookmarks?
Normally its at google.com/bookmarks

Just like a few versions ago - gmarks doesn't like MR Tech Toolkit
(6.0.3.4). It could be that compatibility checking set to off is
actually the problem or part of the problem.
After downloading the xpi - after dragging it into ff - I would get
the add-on window - but gmarks wouldn't be listed that space was blank
- and there was no restart button - instead there was the
compatibility checking on/off button in its place.
MR Tech Toolkit is a gigantic pain to navigate - it was far easier to
disable it - and then try again to drag the gmarks xpi into ff. I did
- and everything worked fine. And then I reabled MR.
