I use that add-on to force the add-on window into a tab - after I
installed gmarks - the add-on tab never finishes loading. Refreshing
the tab doesn't work.
This is a serious bug. It's only been a few minutes since the problem
started - but off the top of my head I can't think of a workaround.
It's catch-22 - to get the add-ons tab to work normally - I need to
uninstall gmarks - but to uninstall gmarks - I need to access the add-
ons tab.
I didn't make a backup of Firefox - so I don't just want to delete the
gmarks xpi file from the profile folder...

What is the exact setting? I can't seem to reproduce it.

MR Tech Toolkit has three settings to open add-ons
= New Window
= New Tab
= Current Window/Tab
= Sidebar
______________________
None of them worked. After about my fifth restart I tried "New Window"
again - the add-ons opened and I could uninstall gmarks.
I used to rate gmarks at about 90 out of 100. With each month the
rating kept slipping. Now I rate it at about 5 out of 100. I could
rant on and on - but I've made my point.

Quick response raising the rating from 5 to 10.
If there's another release candidate - I'll make a full (100%) back up
of firefox and then attempt to install that version of gmarks. I sure
don't feel like doing it now.
Oh, hell - since you'll read this right away - here's my list of add-
ons etc

I'm sorry but I don't have the time that I used to. I can't reproduce
your error and I am able to get the addons window to open in a new tab
(I had to set it via about:config because that addon's preference
window doesn't work). Some of this might be because I'm on a mac.
If you could try installing gmarks again and tell me if you see any
errors in the error console that would be helpful. It would happen
either when you attempt to open the addons window or when you open a
new window of Firefox, I'm not sure at which time.
