I loved the idea behind your add-on and have had it installed for some
time. However, the first thing I noticed after installing it was that
bookmarking a page either of the ways I am accustomed to was not
supported by GMarks. This resulted in me continuously bookmarking
things the traditional Firefox way and them never appearing inside
Google Bookmarks. :(

The first method that you do not support, is clicking the yellow star
button in the address bar. I use this quick bookmark feature quite
frequently and it is very useful. The second method is when I right
click on a tab and click "Bookmark This Tab" or more frequently I
click "Bookmark All Tabs...". I frequently use this feature because I
like to bookmark sets of pages, and bookmarking them all at once is
very convenient.

Would it be possible for GMarks to replace both of these bookmark
options?

The first one would be very welcome. For now you can, via Customize Toolbar, drag Add Gmark or Quick Add Gmark to your Navigation Toolbar.

The "Add All" is more than welcome. For now you may have this functionality via Google Toolbar.
