Hi guys...

I would like the user to be able to add the marker to the map and then
on push of the button submit it's location together with some other
form values that the user enters.

How would I go about doing that?

Thanks in advanced

Filip

That is true, however in the first 2 examples the marker is not added
by the user. What I meant by adding by the user is that the user
clicks a map and then the marker is added.

This is achieved in the last example, but I have another problem
there, the page does a postback.

So my question is can I do that postback somehow with ajax (so have
ajaxed actionListener on map component)?

If now, another question is, how can I maintain the view location and
zoom level of the map between postbacks?

I've used the binding and bound the map to a Map field in code behind,
but the values of lat/long and zoom are not refreshed on the postback
(remain the initial).

Thanks for the fast reply

This is what I gonna to add to the library:

For now, you can using the jsf.ajax.request for executing the process action on the map, and in the onComplete of the Ajax request, you will attach the marker to the map using JavaScript.

Sorry for the short notice as Iam currently on a vacation.
