Gmail loops at login, doesn't login just loops http://mail.google.com/mail/?auth=

The complete text of the loop text that I captured was

This changes once or twice a second and happens when I try to log in.
This is a local computer problem. Gmail works fine on other
computers.

System: Windows XP professional
Browser: IE temporary internet files cleared and cookies are cleared

Any ideas?
