Am I alone in this? - replies appreciated.
I've gone through the archives but the last mentions were Sept 20th
and don't seem to be the same symptoms as mine.

tested in both IE and Firefox - same results.

from main inbox page working left to right

gmail image/link works
both search links work
contacts link DOES NOT work (I wanted to import my address book)
settings links works
help link works
sign out link works

compose mail link works
gmail invitation link DOES NOT work (wanted to send out a couple as I
now have 12 available)

all remaining links work - any ideas?

sounds like you have popup blocker enabled which is ot allowing the
contacts window or invite windows to popup.

try disabling or adding gmail to the safe list so the windows can come up.

Yeah, this has been descussed. I would recommend trying
httpS://gmail.google.com and see if that works.

Bingo!

https sorted it out.

I searched for the wrong terms I guess ("links not working" was maybe a
bit too prescriptive...)

thanks for the rapid response.

Simon
