gmail account disabled

My brother logged into his email address and found that his account was
disabled. Any idea why?

Google might be disabling accounts that have been purchased on eBay.
If your brother has purchased his account on eBay then this is
probably why it's disabled.
If he didn't purchase his account on eBay then I don't know why Google
disabled it.
Mayuresh asked when was the last time he used it, but Google disabling
it because it's inactive is impossible. Google mentioned in their
accounts that haven't been used in 9 months will be deleted and Gmail
hasn't even been available for 9 months. Go to this URL for more
