Thanks for help with clarification, Marko.
These forwards arrive with many layers of addresses embedded into the
BODY of the text. My kids pass them along (however blindly) but don't
always take the time to strip out the clutter. I'm looking for a
simple app for otherwise thoughtful kids (and several well-meaning
adult friends of mine) that might be more thorough than copy/paste of
the original content.

    Actually, there is a possible solution that might help, but it's not actually automatic. It is a lab feature of Gmail that allows you to select the portion you quote in a reply or a forward. It is called "Quote selected text" and it also needs the regular feature "Keyboard shortcuts on" to function correctly. Despite the description in Labs, it can be used for forwards as well. Needless to say, it will only work in Gmail though.

Good point Sean, as I think I said in another thread... but I believe it will work without Keyboard shortcuts as well.  I believe I used it that way originally.
