Reading Lotus Notes in Gmail

I would like to have Gmail import email from our Lotus Notes. Our IT
department won't support this (translation: even if they knew they
wouldn't tell you how to set it up) and therefore I haven't received
any help from them. I know gmail will only import POP accounts so I
might be stuck.

Is this possible?

Set up an agent to forward your Lotus mail to Gmail. Works great.
