but the whole thing has really been unfair to the really good teams, like
argentina and holland. holland lost becuase of a crazy russian referree who
handed out 16 yellow cards (16!!! not a typo!!) and argentina lost in
penalties. Penalties are really just luck, and i like the previous method of
determining who would advance more. up until 1970, in the world cup, tie
games would be determined by the tossing of a coin. That's as fair as
penalties, at least...

yeah i agree, the refs have been really bad.
i prefer penalties than a coin toss... i mean at least ur using talent to
score the penalty.

The performance the french showed last game was miserable, so my best

sadly i agree. i really want france to win though, i think they deserve a
win, but italy has a much more solid team.
its not luck! its skill! and ability to trick the goalie and score the goal.
