Hi there,

Whoa!  What happened to the "Search Web" button on Gmail?  Please
bring it back.  I use that feature 20 times a day.  Now it's just an
annoyance to open a new browser/tab to search the web and navigate
away from email.

Please please please please please please bring it back

Me as well. Unless you introduce something more ingenuous to replace
it this is a big step backward. Please give it back.

I just added a Google Search box myself by adding the following gadget
to Gmail. You need to paste the following link in gmail's settings to
add a new gadget.

if you don't know how to add gadgets to gmail then google it for
help. :-)

I just added a Google Search box myself by adding the following
gadget
to Gmail. You need to paste the following link in gmail's settings to
add a new gadget.

right click this link to save it and then paste it in gmail to add a
widget.

This may only work in FF but what is wrong with highlighting the text
you want to search for, right click on your mouse and select "Search
Google for..." from the selction box?
