to Suggest a Labs feature
Well, my point was just proven! The Gmail team really doesn't listen
all that well! If they did they would have had the Rich Text already
available.

Am I the only one who is aggravated at the fact that one of the most
popular requests aren't available? If so, please, let's make a big
deal about it!

to Suggest a Labs feature
Gmail is also a free service and it takes a lot of work (plus a few of
the workers, not all though, are volunteers). Just because a feature
is not in does not mean they are not looking at your suggestions.
Maybe they have a priority list where they look at the most popular,
OR they look at security ones first. I don't know. I would like
there to be a comment or an e-mail sent if someone on the gmail team
looks at my comments.

Anyway I'm a physics and math major, so I realized that a "proof"
means different things in different contexts (like a scientific proof
is not as rigid as a math proof, a math proof is certainty, while a
science "proof" suggests strong evidence toward. There is a
difference). Anyway how was it proofed (you should say what you mean
by proved, because there not having rich text does not prove
anything)? Also I think a lot of the labs are made by individual
people (and not actually g-mail staff), so they are making things they
want to see in g-mail. Also I don't know what types of tests labs go
through before we are aloud to see them, so this lab may be in sort
of a beta of a beta version if you understand what I mean.

But I agree with the fact that I don't know if my suggestions are read
and taken seriously or not ... and it would be nice to get an email if
one of our suggestions is being worked on or not.
