Shared gmail account

I would really like to get a shared account with my wife. This should
allow read/unread to be for each person (i.e., when I've read it it
still shows as unread for her). But any delete or label or etc would
show the same for both people.

I think this would be helpful as a starting point for collaborative
email for businesses as well...
