I agree! The "new feature" that replaced it does not allow for the most important feature, which was to be able to preview the email without marking it as read or moving it.

I thought it was a mistake when the feature stopped working.

Please restore this Lab feature now!  TY

+1! Bring it back please; the new right-click menu is worthless to me.

Agreed--This was one of my favorite features and I miss it quite terribly!  I tried using the message viewing pane as a substitute and I dont like it at all.  It clutters up the window and makes it hard to read the list of emails!  PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!

I, too, agree with the MANY people who have posted here.  The "Right Click Preview" was one of my favorite features. I used it on most of my e-mails to determine which ones were the most important and which ones could wait.  Now that this ability has been taken away, my productivity has been greatly reduced (and my boss has noticed!).  I did try using the message viewing pane as a substitute but it did not give me the same results.  In fact, it slowed me down even further!  I do not like anything about it.  It takes up too much space in the window and makes it hard to read my E-Mails.  I much preferred the "pop-up box" that the "Right Click Preview" utilized.  The "pop-up-box" was quick and easy and gave the feeling of "get in, get out, get on with your life!"

PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!

(Thank you!)

Totally agree that this was very useful and the preview pne is nothing like as useful. I used it a lot for checking (withjout opening) whether an email looked like spam or not, and also whether it was important or not. Not like Google to remove a useful feature - PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
