to Suggest a Labs feature
Hi,
It would be interesting to be able to generate a graph that plots the
email traffic of your gmail / google apps account. E.g. the number of
emails received/sent per day / week / month (similar to the finance
graphs).
If you use gmail / google apps for business email, this is a nice
leading indicator for how well your business is going to do.

I would go a step further: create graphs on an arbitrary search result
set!

this kind of feature would be great - and if we can add contact or
domain information - very useful...

Yes, this is exactly what I am also suggesting. Some users need to
keep records of email activity and it is really hard to count...
This would be perfect.

100% with this suggestion. I'm a high volume emailer and currently
count my mails by hand. An email counter would be a great addition.
