It drives me absolutely insane when trying to find ONE email out of
hundreds and hundreds, and I have to know that ONE FULL word to match
it to the email.

When a company as big as Google (especially a company known for it's
search engine) gives away gigabytes of space for email, has a tagline
on the trash "Who needs to delete when you have over 7000 MB of
storage?!" which screams "Save every email you have" fails to add this
feature into their email search... just seems like plain negligence on
their part.

I've been looking for over an hour now, reading through many, many,
many emails trying to find a password for one of my sites, of which I
can only remember part of.

So Please. Please, please, please add a simple wildcard character for
us to search for a partial wordmatch. Especially since you gave us so
much space to keep everything in, it would make our lives SO much
easier.

And if they do pick this up, please add wildcard searches to Gmail
Filters (especially on the Subject, From and To fields). Regex would
be even better, but I'd settle for simple * and ? replacements.
