Show or Hide Sidebar?

to Suggest a Labs feature
I would love to see a /show/hide' button on top of the both left and
right side bar which toggles the sidebar display. Using this feature
we can control the mailbox width. Say If sidebar is in hidden state,
the reading pane width will be more.
