I, too, vote for an automatic bcc feature. I think it's long overdue.

Another option is for the bcc line to be already open so you don't
have to click on it. I use the bcc option for almost every email I
send so it gets annoying to have to click on 'compose', then click on
the 'To:' line, then click again on the 'bcc:' line. It would be much
easier to just tab past the bcc line if I didn't want to use it,
rather than have to go back and forth between the keyboard and mouse
so many times. Also, if an auto-bcc feature were ever implemented,
being able to tab to the bcc line would make it easier to delete the
bcc address if it wasn't needed for a particular email.

to Suggest a Labs feature
I came to the Suggest a Labs feature simply because I just send a
bunch of people as "to" when I really intended it to be "BCC".

My mistake, I have sent out lots of "group emails" where I BCCed it
all ... but this one time I forgot & did not realize it until my
"undo" was already past.

I wish the labs feature would notice I am sending to ## people as "to"
and ask ? Did you mean that to be BCC?

or something like that.

+1 For auto BCC lab. Just like the auto "reply to all" replaces the
Reply button, I want some gmail address to offer BCC as the first
option for every email I compose.

Ditto here but I may not be interpreting the Auto BCC suggestion properly.

When I create a group, I want to mark it as a Bcc group. If I ever use it outside of Bcc, I should get asked whether I really intended that or not, much like "Did you mean to include an attachment?"
