to Suggest a Labs feature
Can some one make an application whereby you can add an email to your
calendar (IE: a specific date) the same way you can add an email to
your tasks lists

I would like to suggest the same! As it is now I have to copy and
paste and do a lot of maneuvering to get an email on my calendar.

Under "More Actions" just above your email, you can select "Create
Event". This will open a new pop up window allowing you to create a
calendar item. It's fairly simple to copy text from your email and
paste it in here. Not a lot of clicks, fairly easy.

The option you suggested still isn't what I was looking for. I still
have to copy and paste the email into the calendar. For instance, I
get an invitation for a webinar, I register, I would like to add the
contents of the email to the calendar by having an option to add it as
an event.
