Birthday reminder for birthdays in contacts - "show in calendar"

Hi,

like so many others I would appreciate it very much to have a reminder
via email when a persons birthday occurs.

Even better would be an additional possibility in the prefs to show
contact birthdays in the calendar - it would be possible to use the
email reminder function of the calendar then.

I'm totally pro this idea. I'm android user and use my contacts from
gmail on the phone. if i could be notified on the agenda for the
birthdays it would b great.

Same here! I bought an Android phone and would love to have my
calendar updated with the birthday of my contact when I add this to my
gmail contacts.

Yes a very good suggestion! I writ all the birthday dates in my
contacts but i cannot see them in the calender...;-(

In "Other calendars", click on "add", "Browse interesting calendars",
then select the tab "More" where you will find "Contacts' birthdays
and events".
