What is the XML format for exported filters?
|
| |
We use the same Google Data[1] extensions to Atom[2] as does the Email
Settings API[3], plus a few extra properties.
If you look at an exported file, you will see a <feed> outer element
containing an <entry> element for each filter or canned response. The
nested <category> element's term attribute will tell you which entry... more »

If I'm creating a filter XML file, how should I set up all those IDs?
|
| |
Short answer: don't worry about it.
The IDs, timestamps, titles, and so on, are all required parts of the
Atom spec. But they do not have any meaning to us when we import
filters. The simplest strategy for creating your own XML file is to
start with a copy of an exported file, and copy and paste entries to... more »

Can't create filters.
|
| |
Hi there,
I tried to create a new filter today but didn't succeed. When I click
"Next Step", it says "Your changes have not been saved. Discard
changes?", and there is no option like "Save changes and continue". I

[email address] with a new subject of "HELLO."
In the XML it seems that the apps:property name='subject' only applies... more »

them well.
Now I created a new gmail account for my business mail. How can I
export the old mails, labelled with Business, to my new account?
I did try the POP to import the mails in my new account, but there I
can only import all mail, not by label.... more »

Importing labels from gmail to google apps email account

I'm trying to Import labels from my personal gmail to my professional
google apps email account.
The two accounts are: [email address] and [email address]
Both accounts are set up so that email sent to either email address
appears in both inboxes, so that both inboxes are essentially... more »

The ability to choose
|
| |
Dear Gmail Labs,
I appreciate this idea of having different lists where new emails
could get sorted into. However, when first enabling this feature, I
thought that the whole inbox would show up as it usually does, and
then I would be able to go to my navbar at the left and choose which
list of email I would like to view.... more »

simply click "merge" to clean things up easily!
