We had to temporarily disable the 'Default reply to all' lab because
it was causing issues for people who had it enabled. Stay tuned for
more info and thank you for braving the Labs world. Remember, things
may break or disappear at any time or they may work so well that they
graduate from Labs and become regular features.

I understand the problem but I would like to stress that this was
really a useful feature.
If people who enabled it are not able to deal with it I do not know
what to think....
Anyway...thanks for telling us about the removal

Well, I would also like to say that I'm already really missing this
feature. Not only it saves a few clicks a day, but it was useful to
make sure I didn't accidentally replied only to the sender, as most of
my mails are reply to all.
It was a really useful feature and it would be great if it doesn't
disappear.

Thank you for letting us know , but wouldn't it make more sense for
those people to just disable it in theirs?
There must be hundreds of people out there who use this feature every
day, saving countless clicks and time!

As with everyone else... I just wanted to chime in and let Google know
that we have been given a new toy and you have taken the batteries...
please give batteries back soon :)

Just make sure you follow up on this 'temporary' and 'stay tuned'
stuff. It's a great feature that makes sense, and we and our newfound
emailing mistakes are awaiting your reply.
Just want to chime in on how much I'll miss this. I only fond this
thread because I realized I was no longer "replying to all" when I
thought I had been all day! ;)

Please... I need this feature back.......... It's so frustrated after
making lot of mistake by click "Reply" directly and figure out the
feature is gone............
Please bring this feature back as soon as possible ... I really don't
understand why a feature such as this (which really should be the
standard default) was taken away because a few morons who actually
enabled the feature couldn't figure out how to user it properly (and
really, let's face it, they must be morons if they can't figure out
how to use something as simple as "reply to all").

Would be nice to give us a heads up when a feature (even if its labs)
is disabled. I was replying to messages all day and didn't even notice
they weren't replying-to-all... I had *really* gotten used to it!
Definitely tripped me up!
Hope it returns soon! If folks are having trouble with it, *they*
should disable it, not disable it for everyone!

Like all the others that have replied to this thread I also find this
feature invaluable, as a member of various mailing lists with a reply-
to-all policy as well has having a similar culture within the company
I work for.
I'm also a great fan of this feature. Saves me tons of clicks each
day.
I know what labs is and where it's for, but I would like to had a
better head's up about the disableing of this feature! There were
several important messages that weren't send because of my reliance on
this.
