Screen recorder

Hello Everyone,

I need an efficient and fast screen recorder. Can anyone suggest anything worthy? I got DemoRecorder but its a paid tool.

Hello Sumit,

You can try 'istanbul' which is distributed under GNU. You can find it in fedora repos and possibly Ubuntu.

Nikhil, Yet to try xvidcap. 

Ravi, Istanbul crashes as soon as I click on "start recording" button.

Open from command windows and than see if there is any library missing while you press on start recording as it working fine with me.

Updating glib possibly going to resolve your problem.
