Starting GAJACs (GNU Academic Joy Assertion Clubs) for weekly events

Dear GLUGers,
The father of software freedom Dr. Richard Stallman blessed GLUG
Meerut and we are one of the few GLUGs of the world which have played
strong role of inducting FOSS at the academic scene in a large
university like UP State Technical University (UPTU).
Still, we have seen a drought of events in GLUG Meerut after FOSSTIVAL
2009 and FOSSINSTALL.
GLUG Meerut and IIMT Meerut have been working in tandem and the IIMT
Group Chairman has asked us to start weekly events as soon as
possible.
As we have been publicly dormant for a long time, we need to take up
things right from the beginning once again for sure (we have no other
way).
Lets start saturday events with second, third and final year students
of all courses in all colleges in MEETUP style. First year students
are also welcome to attend and contribute as newbies.
Let the people come up to share ideas, tricks, algorithms, code and
systems in a MEETUP kindof environment.
These GLUG MEERUT CLUBS can be called GNU Academic Joy Assertion CLUBs
(GAJACs) in individual chapters of colleges.
I need your reflections on what, how and when for the forward path.

Let the individual chapters of GLUG Meerut associate prefixes like
IIMT GAJAC, MIET GAJAC, Vidya GAJAC and so on.
Meerut is globally known for a winter sweet called GAJAK and GAJAC is
a pun on it just like UNIX was a pun on MULTICS.
