Apache2 download Error

to GLUG Meerut

i used the tasksel command even but i didn get ny o/p

i used :-

sudo tasksel install lamp-server

n i returned to my home directory

What should i do now

guide me please

i installed ubuntu 9.10 a few weaks ago

i updated it using command :-

sudo apt-get update

but i got some Errors:-

i tried to install apache2 on my lap

n i run the command :-
sudo apt-get install apache2

n again i got some errors:-

Package apache2 is not available, but is referred to by another
package.
