getting a user profile picture

Is there an API call that returns the display image (URL)?

Cant seem to find it..

Just replace with the username and you're all set!

Benny's right. This is how you should handle the situation, at least
for now.

I am keeping track of requests for API changes, to consider for future
releases. How and where would you want the avatar URL presented?
