Hi,
The glue site and api seem to be read only, excepting likes
is there a way to add a book?

If an item is not in our index, but is available on one of our supported sites (http://getglue.com/sites), you can pass in the URL as the objectId and it will be added.

This will work for actions (/user/addVisit, /user/addLike) or, if you just want the item data to be added, /object/get

Yes, thanks.  My primary question arose from using Safari and not seeing the "install to browser" and the semantic integration for the glue sites.

Great. I'll pass the word on about putting something in that space for Safari users (the addon is only supported in Firefox and IE, but perhaps a message would be helpful).
