I can't work this out. When my application makes a call to user/
profile, I get back data as expected but when I call user/stream I get
a 404 error.

The URL my api class is calling is http:\\api.getglue.com\v2\user
\stream?

Having the exact same problem here.. is the api doc missing updates or
is it an api unavailability problem ?

Apologize -- the API documentation is out of date.

To fetch the users' stream please use the endpoint

http://api.getglue.com/v2/user/stream/friends
