A few observations about formatting and can they be changed?

Is there a way some of the existing tv shows on GetGlue could be
renamed to correctly match their formats? Off the top of my head, I
have a small list right now, but if it is possible I can generate a
list later on.

Right now the ones bothering me are The WotWots, which I am guru for.
I added it to the Index exactly as The WotWots but instead GetGlue
named it as The Wotwots with the second "Wots" lowercase. This is not
the proper formatting of the show.

Also why is The Vampire Diaries just Vampire Diaries? getglue.com/

I understand GetGlue doesn't include "a", "the", and "and" for some
reason in the links for tv shows and movies, but I have noticed it
sometimes leaves off beginning words such as A and The in the actual
show name on the page. The International Sexy Ladies Show appearing
titled as International Sexy Ladies Show is another example which
comes to mind.

Also I have a lot of movies I have added where it begins as "With
Starring" ... before listing the links to the cast members. On
IMDB.com it shows it as "Starring" so when it goes live adding the
"With" ahead of it, it really is unfortunate.

Also for a book - there are two entries for The School Gyrls: The
Junior Novel. The correct author is Tisha West. getglue.com/

There is another entry for Tracey West (who co-wrote) which I wish
wasn't there - ideally it should be deleted because it's just
confusing having two books with two different yet similar authors. The
best I could think to do is take over guru and edit the description
and image to try to direct people interested in liking it to the
correct book. I cannot delete it from the Index but it still looks
ugly as you will see, but it was the best I could think to do.

On a side note, I know there are a few shows added twice such as The
Venture Bros. (which is correct) and The Venture Brothers with gurus
and people checking-in for both. Also there iG.I. Joe: A Real American
Hero (which is correct) and G.I. Joe with gurus and people checking-in
for both. The reason why is usually because the other show doesn't
come up as a result. I am guru for G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero
because it is correct, but of course G.I. Joe has more check-ins. I
just think it is confusing and cluttered to have two show listings and
it doesn't accurately record fanbases and check-ins when they're
spread across two pages for the exact same show just with a different
name. But this is one of the drawbacks to a site relying upon user-
added content for expansion.

Let me know if you can make these changes to the formatting though. I
would think you should be able to since you can change a cast for a tv
show to the correct one. I will then keep a record of my findings
concerning other tv show and movie formats and come back after I have
gathered a more complete list. Thank you. Also is continuing to post
on the forum fine or would you rather me email you directly? I just am
