API: Get a movie id by imdb id?

Hi,

I'd like to know if it is possible, via the API, to find a movie by
its IMDB id?

This would be very practical, as most movie organizer / Media player
like XBMC use or have the IMDB number available...

Hi Koying,

Actually there is. You can pass in an IMDB link as the objectId parameter in the /object/get call.

Please note that we are in the process of deprecating /object/links so the IMDB link mapping will only work for older movies, ie not any new pages starting from 8/15 (today) onwards.
