Formatting output from sql-query.php

I'm trying to use the sql-query.php to output all the terms in a
dictionary. I was able to do so but I would like it formatted like so:

Term 1 - Definition 1
Term 2 - Definition 2

and so on.
Is there a way to do this and not see all the Array stuff? What I'm
attempting to do is create a page outside of glossword that will list
all the terms and their definitions. Ultimately I would like to create
a pdf of all the terms in a dictionary.

So if anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate hearing them.
