Open source community at sastra gains momentum.

hello,
   There is a good news for all  the gloss members .
Our application,the online feedback system designed for faculty and course feedback,  by ramprakash,karthik prashanth and dwarakanath ,
has gained a high  note of approval from the dean S.Vaithiyasubramaniam.
A news about our open source community(GLOSS) has been flashed in the newspapers of trichy and tanjore editions(05.11.09) !

Indian express last few lines goes like this:
"The open source student community (gloss) at sastra is a vibrant body that develops open src applns for the campus use.
The management congratulates the open src community for developing such good softwares."

It seems to be, like gloss has gained a momentum at our university and there is lot more they are expecting from us !
Lets continue to rock the show !

Could you also please provide the source code under a F/OSS license at
your university website, or at any public project hosting website? You
could look at sourceforge.net, bitbucket.org, github.com,
gitorious.org, as examples.

Hello everybody,
               I am really really proud to be associated with GLOSS, I being one of the developers of the Online Feedback System, was really happy to work for the university and also had a real great time with the open source technologies :). As an individual I want GLOSS to come up with much more apps like this, so that the student community is benefited. I would take this as an opportunity to thank Dwarakanath for his dynamic leadership and support through out the project. Kudo's to open source,GLOSS and SASTRA for providing this golden opportunity :)
