Hi guys.........I found a certain problem in installing softwares from the software center in ubuntu 9.10 . Everytime i try to install, it gives an error message at 3% saying the source of the software is unauthorised . The only way that I found to overcome this is by doing the 'check' for updates in the update manager . After this is done , it is possible to install the software . But it is not possible for me to do this everytime . If you guys have any solution for this please help and one more issue is that for the past 5 days the 'check' in the update manager is not possible at all.......it is not because of the connectivity issues thats for sure . If you guys have any answers for this please share .

You can alternatively try installing from Synaptic Package Manager. You can get the name/list of the packages from the software centre(they will be listed below the description).
