the NSDL and CDSL levies Depository charges on each sell delivery transaction. The charge is Rs 4.5 and Rs 5.5 per ISIN respectively on debit instruction for NSDL and CDSL respectively. This charged would be levied w.e.f. September 01, 2013.
The NSDL / CDSL charge would be levied :
On Delivery sell transaction and not on Delivery Buy transactions with applicable service Tax.
These charges are levied on per scrip basis at net level.
These charges are levied per scrip irrespective of value or quantity of transaction
There is no change for F&O transactions.
