RUPEE DESK- Auto Stocks Outlook for the week (11-15.06.2012)
Performance of the broad market is likely to set the trend for stocks of automobile companies in the coming week. The market will also await possible announcement related to any hike in duty on diesel cars. The auto companies are likely to make a presentation to the finance ministry in a week to discuss impacts of any such duty hike.
Tata Motors stocks will be eyed as the company's Jaguar Land Rover sales
numbers for May are expected to be good. The sales figures will be announced Friday.Also
positive on Mahindra & Mahindra, which reported better tractor sales in
May. The movement of the rupee against the dollar and commodity prices could
also impact the stocks.
