* ADANI PORTS AND SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE: Has approved reappointment of Gautam S. Adani as the managing director.

* BHARTI AIRTEL: Will approach the Supreme Court to challenge the Customs, Excise and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal's order asking the company to pay about 8 bln rupees for alleged customs duty evasion.

* COAL INDIA: Subsidiary Western Coalfields has raised non-coking coal prices produced by up to 20% from Jun 21.The board is likely to meet on Jul 10 to discuss amendments to its fuel supply pacts with power producers as suggested by the Prime Minister's Office. The government has allocated three coal blocks to Coal India , out of the 24 it had taken back from the private sector companies earlier.

* CORE EDUCATION & TECHNOLOGIES: Will bid for government contracts to build, operate, and manage 500 schools this year. Rival EDUCOMP SOLUTIONS will also look at this opportunity.
* FORTIS HEALTHCARE: Is looking to buy at least 26% in a wind power company through arm Fortis Malar Hospital at an investment of around 2 mln rupees.

* GMR INFRASTRUCTURE: Has appealed to the appellate Tribunal to further raise aeronautical changes at Delhi International Airport that it manages.

* HINDUSTAN UNILEVER: Is test marketing low-cost water-purifying Pureit sachets in India .
* INFOSYS: Has opened a second office in Japan at Nagoya .

* JAIPRAKASH ASSOCIATES: The Aditya Birla Group is leading in a bid to acquire stake in the cement business of the company that could be potentially valued at $1 bln.

* KEC INTERNATIONAL: Sees the company's sales prospects up on power deficit in India and Africa .

* MANAPPURAM FINANCE: Barring Private Equity has raised its stake in the company to 5.94% from 4.99% earlier.

* NTPC: Has accepted the changes proposed by the Prime Minister's Office in the new fuel-supply agreement, ending its standoff with COAL INDIA .

* PARSVNATH DEVELOPERS: IDBI Trusteeship Services sold 2.3% in company on Monday, diluting its stake to 13.36%.

* PFIZER: Drug Eliquis, designed to prevent strokes and blood clots, has failed to get approval from the US Food and Drug Administration.

* REDINGTON ( India ): Will distribute products and services to Fortinet's IT security products.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Bought back 842,806 shares on Monday.

* SPICEJET: Is in talks with Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways for a minority stake sale.

* SUPREME INFRASTRUCTURE INDIA: Arm has started tolling operations on the Patiala road project.

* SUZLON ENERGY: Expects to tie up $300 mln in loans from banks by June end to repay overseas bondholders.

* TVS MOTOR CO: Is investing 3-4 bln rupees on product development and plans to roll out six new products in 2014-15.
