Auto sales in November 2013
· TVS Motor Company, registered total sales of 161,908 units in November 2013, compared to 171,837 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, hence, showing a decline of 5.78%. On monthly basis, the company reported a decline of 18.19%.
· Sales volume of Maruti Suzuki stood at 92,140 units in November, 2013 against 103,200 units in the same month of last year, registering a YoY decline of 10.72%. On MoM basis, sales also decline by 12.32%.
· Mahindra & Mahindra October Auto sales declined by 18.46% to 39,255 units on YoY basis. On MoM sales is decline by 22.36%. Mahindra & Mahindra total tractor sales increased by 12.91% to 23,119 units in November 2013.
· Total sales of Tata Motors stood at 40,863 units in November 2013, showing a decline of 38.55% on YoY basis. On MoM basis, sales also decline by 20.87%.
· Total sales of Ashok Leyland stood at 5,375 units in November 2013, showing a decline of 27.07% on YoY basis. On MoM basis, sales also decline by 20.99%.
· Hero Motocorp, registered total sales of 530,530 units in November 2013, compared to 502,305 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, hence, showing a growth of 5.62%. However, on monthly basis, the company reported a decline of 15.17%.
· Sales volume of Bajaj Auto stood at 310,591 units in November, 2013 against 372,293 units in the same month of last year, registering a YoY decline of 16.57%. On MoM basis, sales also decline by 19.39%.
